Welcome to Kennedy School! This is an exciting time for you and your child. The first day of kindergarten will mark one of the most important milestones in your child’s life!
My name is Sarah Mixa and I will be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year. This is my 14th year teaching at Kennedy School. I have two young sons, Dominick and Anthony , whom bring my husband and me joy everyday! I enjoy every moment helping and watching them grow! Being a parent is an amazing and rewarding experience that I truly treasure everyday!
Be assured that I will do my best to make this school year an enjoyable time for you and your child, I want you to know that I am completely committed to your child’s well being. I care very much about your child’s education and will strive each and everyday to give him/her a safe learning environment. Your child will contribute to our class in many special ways this year.
Communication between parents and teachers is essential. As many of you are new to Kennedy School, please do not hesitate to call, email, or send a note with any questions, concerns, or problems that arise during the school year. I look forward to working with you and your child this school year!
