Our discipline system in Kindergarten works on a color-coded based method. We use a card system to designate the colored areas.  Each student will begin every day on the green card.   If a student makes a choice that does not show respect or responsibility, he/she will change his/her card.

Pink: Super Star Day!  

Purple: Awesome day! Your child showed respect, responsibility, and did his/her best work! Your child will get a chance to choose a prize from the prize box!

Green: Great day! Your child made great choices! (receives a sticker) Yellow: Made a bad choice after two warnings. This is your child’s warning.

Blue: Continued to make a bad choice after several warnings. Your child will make a forgiveness card.

Red: Call Home explaining your child’s behavior

 

It is very important that you ask your child if he/she stayed on “green” each day and check their behavior chart located in your child’s B.E.E Binder.  This reinforcement at home will encourage your child to make great choices in school.
